These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of Shore Desk (the "Service"), operated by Shore Desk LLC ("Shore Desk," "we," "us"). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

1. The Service

Shore Desk is a software dashboard that helps vacation-rental owners manage bookings, guests, cleaning turnovers, lease documents, pricing, and income. Shore Desk is a tool for managing your own rental business. We are not a booking platform, a party to your rental agreements, and we do not handle bookings between you and your guests.

2. Eligibility & accounts

You must be at least 18 years old to use the Service. You are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure and for all activity under your account. You agree to provide accurate account information and to keep it current.

3. Trials & paid plans

We offer a free trial of the Service. After your trial ends, continued use of the Service requires a paid subscription. We offer monthly and annual plans; current pricing and plan details are shown on our pricing page and presented before you are charged. Paid subscriptions renew automatically for the same term until you cancel, and you may cancel at any time through your account or billing portal. We may change pricing with reasonable notice.

4. Your content & your guests' information

You retain ownership of the information you put into Shore Desk, including details about your properties, bookings, and guests. You are responsible for that information and for having the right to provide it. When you enter information about your guests (such as names, contact details, or lease information), you confirm you have a lawful basis to do so. You are responsible for handling your guests' information in line with applicable privacy laws.

5. Leases & electronic signatures

Shore Desk provides tools to store leases and collect electronic signatures. We do not provide legal advice, and we do not guarantee that any lease or signature is valid or enforceable in your jurisdiction. You are responsible for the content and legal sufficiency of your own lease documents. Consult an attorney for legal questions.

6. Acceptable use

You agree not to misuse the Service, including by attempting to access it without authorization, disrupting it, uploading unlawful or infringing content, or using it to violate the rights of others or any applicable law.

7. Third-party services

The Service relies on third-party providers (for example, for hosting, database, and email delivery). Your use of the Service may be subject to those providers' terms, and we are not responsible for their services.

8. Disclaimers

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that it will meet your requirements.

9. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Shore Desk LLC will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, data, or goodwill arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability for any claim relating to the Service will not exceed the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim.

10. Termination

You may stop using the Service at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these Terms or if we discontinue the Service. On termination, your right to use the Service ends.

11. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we will take reasonable steps to notify you. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect means you accept the updated Terms.

12. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of New Jersey, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules.
